First established in Tokyo, Japan in 1998, all of Mikia’s jewellery is hand-made in Japan using natural stones, vintage beads and precious stones. Mikia’s designer Aki Mitsubayashi takes inspiration from her travels around the world; the people she meets, culture and the things she finds.
Karabiner is an essential tool for climbers and climbers for adventurers. Inspired by snake beads, a typical motif of MIKIA, the MIKIA karabiner was born. The band part is a cord-like mesh chain, designed to suit any style from casual to elegant.
