First established in Tokyo, Japan in 1998, all of Mikia’s jewellery is hand-made in Japan using natural stones, vintage beads and precious stones. Mikia’s designer Aki Mitsubayashi takes inspiration from her travels around the world; the people she meets, culture and the things she finds.
This necklace is made from roundels of hematite and malachite in the "heishi" technique which is a technique created and continued by indigenous American people. The hardware is cast from 925 Sterling Silver.
