Sneaker Politics have linked with Saucony for a New Orleans inspired take on the classic Shadow 5000. The "Cafe Du Monde" Shadow 5000 in 'Beignet Brown' pays homage to the classic French-style deep fried pastry and to a New Orleans icon; Cafe Du Monde which has served the Beignet (pronounced "ben-yay") pastry since 1862.
The three-tone brown suede leather and mesh upper is adorned with white flecks to mimic dashes of powdered sugar atop the fried dough desserts.
Details extend to a co-branded tongue and vibrant green and white outsoles play respect to colors of Café Du Monde’s patio overhangs.
