The GEL-LYTE III OG retains the original shape and structure that graced the early 1990's. The GEL-LYTE III, designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1990, is characterized by a split tongue that divides the tongue vertically into two parts. The fit that wraps around the instep makes it comfortable to put your feet in, and the tongue is designed to keep it from slipping even when you are wearing it. In addition, the heel part incorporates GEL technology, which provides excellent shock absorption and pursues a comfortable daily life.
Inspired by many bizarre creatures from Japanese folklore and mythology, this model features exotic leather combinations. Also new is the fact that the traditional TPU heel part has been replaced with leather for a premium feel.
