Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks you probably know that last week we hosted the Australian release of the Crooked Tongues New Balance 1500s. To celebrate we threw a little get-together on Friday night before the Saturday morning release. Combining images from New Balance’s “Journeys” exhibit, our own personal stash of New Balance rarities and samples for 2012 release the beers flowed generously and good times were had by all. We don’t get a chance to nerd out about our sneakers much anymore (contrary to what people might think), so it was a nice change of pace even if we were all pretty tired from the Mo’ Munny show the evening prior.

Below you can see images of the event if you missed out. To compliment the 1500s we had the original quartet of Crooked Tongues 576s on display. Limited to 50 pairs each and released 6 years ago, nowadays these puppies are rarer than hens teeth.
